Jeff Jarrett Wasn’t Contacted About IMPACT 1000

Jeff Jarrett IMPACT TNA

Jeff Jarrett, the co-founder of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, which later evolved into IMPACT Wrestling, was not invited to the 1000th edition of IMPACT.

Jarrett is a six-time world champion in the promotion, spending over a thousand days as champion with reigns from 2002 to 2006.

During his time in TNA/IMPACT, Jarrett feuded with a who’s who of big names, including Kurt Angle, Sting and Christian Cage.

On the latest edition of My World with Jeff Jarrett, host Conrad Thompson asked Jarrett if anybody had reached out to him regarding IMPACT 1000.

“Isn’t that ironic? No, not a peep. Not a word [laughs].”

However, Jarrett made it clear that he holds no ill will towards the promotion.

“I get it. I totally understand. No, it doesn’t not hurt my feelings. It really doesn’t because I understand. I’m not sure that I agree with their line of thinking.”

“But anyway, I’ve said it over and over, I think there’s two distinct brands. I think the IMPACT brand really became, as we said, IMPACT LOL.”

“I think the TNA brand, not for everybody, but there was more success correlated with that. So bring back folks associated with that era. I think there’s an upside to that in so many ways.”

“But I get it. It’s their call.”

When Did Jeff Jarrett Last Appear For IMPACT?

Jeff Jarrett’s last in-ring appearance for the promotion was on the July 27th, 2015 edition of IMPACT.

On this show, he competed in a “Winner Takes All Lethal Lockdown” match, which also involved Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Eric Young. Jarrett’s team would lose the battle in just under thirty-two minutes.

Jeff Jarrett can be found these days an active member of the All Elite Wrestling roster. He wrestles semi-frequently on Dynamite and Rampage, typically alongside his new cohorts in Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh.

With the promotion soon to be TNA once again, Jeff Jarrett has given his thoughts on the rebrand.
