Toni Storm continues to turn heads.
Having fully transformed into her Timeless era, the former AEW Women’s Champion has quickly become one of the highlights of the show and has breathed some much-needed life into the promotion’s women’s division. Storm’s work has also been praised by a WWE star who knows her very well, Tegan Nox.
Speaking with Wilde On, Nox praised Storm’s work in AEW and knows how much she is having playing her new persona:
“She’s living her best life, [her work is] so good, and it’s very her as well.”
Nox also stated that the closing line of “Chin up, t*ts out and watch for the shoe” is “The most Toni thing that she could say.”
Along with the vignettes and catchphrases, many fans have witnessed Storms’s more risque behaviour in recent matches. Continuing to describe the Timeless one, Nox revealed that this is the Storm that she knows well and did admit that there is a possibility that Storm may get even more scandalous as time goes on:
“I messaged her straight afterward. I was like, ‘That is you. That’s the Toni I’ve known for 12 years.'” Nox explained, “She’s just being herself and it’s like, oh God, how far is this going to go? Because I know you and you’re going to push the boat as far as you can. I just love that she’s throwing shoes at people now.”
The former AEW Women’s Champion looks to complete her journey to stardom as she challenges for the title once again at Full Gear in Hollywood.
In the same interview, Tegan Nox admitted that she was 100% expecting the call that she was going to be released from her WWE contract.
