Impact Star Shows Brutal Aftermath Of Bound For Glory Match

Mickie James has revealed the extent of the injuries she suffered at the recent Impact Wrestling Bound for Glory show.

Mickie James had her first one-on-one match with Trinity, also known as Naomi, at Impact Wrestling Bound for Glory 2023 last weekend. Despite their previous encounters in multi-person matches, this was their first singles match. Trinity emerged as the victor, maintaining her reign as champion. James took to Instagram to show off the bruises she sustained during the match.

This showdown with Trinity was her first shot at regaining the Impact Knockouts title she held before being forced to relinquish it due to injury in March, ending her fifth reign with the gold. However, as Impact moves towards rebranding back to TNA in January, it is likely that James will have more title opportunities in the future. While Trinity emerged victorious, James proved to be a worthy opponent, and it is likely that their paths will cross again in the future.

When Did Mickie James Start Wrestling For Impact?

Mickie James made her in-ring professional debut in 1999 and first made her Impact debut in 2002 while the company was still known as TNA. Since then, she has won championships everywhere she has competed. Most notably she held the WWE Women’s Championship five times and the Divas Championship once. James engaged in a memorable feud with Trish Stratus from 2005 to 2006 in which James portrayed a crazed fan of Stratus which developed into James’ character developing romantic feelings for Stratus.
