Who leaves Supercard of Honor with their hands raised and gold around their waist?

The Embassy (c) vs. AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik – ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor The Embassy (c) vs. AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik - ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship

After an altercation on ROH Honor Club TV the powerhouse team of Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona will defend the Trios titles against the high-octane trio of AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik at the pay-per-view.

Prediction: With rumours swirling that Brain Cage could be on his way out of the company, this is the perfect time to crown new champions. Fox, Christian, and Metalik win.

Athena (c) vs. Yuka Sakazaki – ROH Women’s World Championship

After winning the ROH Women’s Championship from Mercedes Martinez at Final Battle, Athena saw no problem in sticking the boot in on her opponents after the match. These post-match beatdowns were often thwarted by Yuka Sakazaki. The champ got sick of the Magical Girl’s constant interruptions and called her out for a match at the PPV.

Prediction: Athena hasn’t had enough time to truly reach her potential as champion and it would therefore be a mistake to take it off her this early. Athena wins.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Mark Briscoe – ROH World Television Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor Samoa Joe (c) vs. Mark Briscoe - ROH World Television Championship

Samoa Joe has held the ROH World Television Championship for over 350 days. He defeated the formidable Minoru Suzuki for the title on April 4th, 2022, and successfully defended it seven times. He then put the title on the line in an open challenge that was answered by nonother than Mark Briscoe.

Prediction: Marc Briscoe has never won a singles title in the promotion he helped build and it is certainly time it happens. After what he has been through following the tragic loss of his brother it would be a fitting outcome to see him capture the title at the pay-per-view. Briscoe wins.

Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata – ROH Pure Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor - Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata - ROH Pure Championship

After defeating NJPW LA Dojo graduate Clark Conners at Final Battle Wheeler Yuta insulted the school and its head trainer, the legendary Katsuyori Shibata, before offering him a title match at the PPV in Los Angles.

Prediction: Over time the Blackpool Combat Club member has proven himself to be a real tough customer but Shibata is on another level. His technical and striking prowess is unrivaled but since 2017 his matches have been few due to a career-threatening injury. Therefore, despite having one hell of a challenge in front of him, Yuta will prevail and retain the title. Yuta wins.

El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Komander – AAA Mega Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Komander - AAA Mega Championship

Vikingo exploded onto our screens recently in a 5-star main event with Kenny Omega. The gravity-defying superstar will now bring the wow factor to Ring of Honor pay-per-view to defend the AAA Mega Championship against the equally-amazing Kommander.

Prediction: Prepare to be amazed. These two Mexican megastars will do things in the ring fans will have never seen before and the outcome is going to be outstanding. The champion will certainly have his work cut out for him but the match will be his. Vikingo wins.

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Daniel Garcia

ROH Supercard of Honor Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Daniel Garcia

On the March 29th episode of AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia competed in the main event against Adam Cole. After the show went off the air, Garcia challenged NJPW icon Hiroshi Tanahashi to a match at ROH Supercard of Honor, which Tony Khan was more than happy to make official.

Prediction: The cocky but competent Garcia may have bitten off more than he can chew by calling out the Ace of NJPW. Tanahashi is bigger, stronger and much more experienced than the former ROH Pure Champion, but Garcia has youth and speed on his side. Plus the up-and-coming star is one of AEW/ROH’s premier projects and a win over Tanahashi would be huge. Garcia wins.

The Lucha Brothers vs. Top Flight vs. The Kingdom vs. Aussie Open vs. La Facción Ingobernable – “Reach for the Sky” Ladder match ROH World Tag Team Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor - The Lucha Brothers vs. Top Flight vs. The Kingdom vs. Aussie Open vs. La Facción Ingobernable -  "Reach for the Sky" Ladder match ROH World Tag Team Championship

Former ROH Tag Team Champion Mark Briscoe vacated the titles on the March 10th episode of AEW Rampage. It was then announced new champions would be crowned at the pay-per-view in a Reach for the Sky Ladder Match. The Lucha Bros, Top Flight, Aussie Open, The Kingdom, and La Facción Ingobernable will go at it in what will undoubtedly be an undeniable classic.

Prediction: The talent on show in the match is incredible and every team has a strong chance of claiming the titles. But with that being said it seems like Top Flight and Aussie Open have been highlighted more that the others as of late. But Top Flight are a homegrown team that would make great champions. Top Flight wins.

Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Eddie Kingston – ROH World Championship

ROH Supercard of Honor - Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Eddie Kingston - ROH World Championship

Castagnoli and Kingston have heat going all the way to time on the indies. This animosity followed them into AEW and now to ROH.

After Castagnoli retained the title ROH Honor Club TV against AR Fox, Kingston emerged to lay down a challenge for the title. The champion accepted the Mad King’s challenge and the two will throw down at Supercard of Honor.

Prediction: Since laying down the challenge, Kingston sensationally quit AEW, leaving ROH as his only wrestling home. Fans have been clamouring for years to see the Mad King pick up a title in a major promotion and this could very well be his best opportunity. Kingston wins.

ROH Supercard of Honor is available to watch on PPV live stream via FITE and Bleacher Report.
