On the February 15th edition of AEW Dynamite Mark Briscoe was back in action against Josh Woods.

The match was only Briscoe’s second on AEW television after Warner Bros. Discovery lifted the ban on him performing following the death of his brother Jay. His first came on January 25th when he defeated Jay Lethal in the main event of the tribute show to his late brother.

On this occasion, Mark Briscoe again entered to a huge ovation and quickly got to work trying to get the better of Woods. Briscoe used his speed early but was laid out by a huge Corkscrew Suplex onto the floor from the apron. However, the ROH Tag Team Champion rallied and eventually scored the win, hitting the Froggy Bow.
