Update On Jack Perry’s AEW Return

Update On Jack Perry's AEW Return

When is Jack Perry due to make a return to AEW?

Perry was at the centre of the infamous incident at All In that also involved CM Punk. Following the physical altercation that took place backstage at Wembley Stadium, both Jack Perry and CM Punk were suspended pending the results of an internal investigation. Less than one week later, CM Punk was publicly fired by Tony Khan, which arguably meant that the investigation had concluded. Despite the results of the findings, Perry has still not been seen since All In.

As mentioned by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there have been no new updates on the former Tag Team Champion in regards to a return to the promotion. There is optimism that Perry will be coming back, but a window of return remains unknown:

Nope, nothing new on him. He’ll be reinstated, hopefully, at some point, but I don’t know when that would be.

Jack Perry Remains Suspended Following “Real Glass” Incident

The incident that led to the backstage altercation saw Perry tap on the window of a car during his match with Hook and stating that it was real glass and anyone who has an issue should “go cry me a river.” These lines were Jack Perry’s response to not being allowed to use real glass during an episode of Collision after Punk intervened.

With multiple reports from news outlets giving their perspective on the situation, the exact details of what happened behind the curtain at Wembley Stadium still remain unknown. However, due to the London venue having many security cameras, footage of the altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry does exist.
