CM Punk Has Heat With AEW Star Ryan Nemeth

CM Punk in AEW

Hangman Adam Page isn’t the only man to get on the wrong side of CM Punk.

Following the August 12th episode of AEW Collision, CM Punk took a dig at Hangman Adam Page, and it was reported that Page had been scheduled to be at the taping, only to be told that he had to do his planned pre-taped segment for Dynamite elsewhere.

Following the latest controversy it was reported that Page hasn’t been the only person to be turned away from Collision in recent weeks. It’s been reported that Ryan Nemeth had been scheduled to appear on the show, before being told upon arrival by a coach that he now wouldn’t be needed and a flight home had been scheduled. The report from Fightful Select notes that Nemeth regularly features on Being The Elite, and was confronted by Punk earlier in 2023.

Punk had taken exception to Nemeth calling him “the softest man alive” on social media after his return promo on the debut edition of Collision.

It’s been reported that Matt Hardy and Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels have also been told not to attend tapings for the CM Punk-led Collision.

What Happened Between CM Punk And Adam Page?

The issues between CM Punk and Adam Page began in the run-up to their match at Double or Nothing in 2022. Punk believes that Page went off-script to insult him, hinting that he’d been causing problems in the locker room, Punk later went off-script after returning from injury to call out Page despite him not being in the building.

Page was also one of Punk’s targets during the famous post-All Out press conference, although the star wasn’t involved in the scuffle which occurred later that night.

These issues sparked back into life following the August 12th episode of Collision, where Punk took a jab at his rival over his merchandise sales. It has been emphasised by numerous reports that the comments weren’t “a work,” or planned in advance.
