Head Of Talent Relations Refused Entry To AEW Collision

CM Punk cuts a promo on AEW Collision

Christopher Daniels has joined a growing list of people to be turned away from AEW Collision, despite being Head of Talent Relations.

Following the August 12th episode of Collision, CM Punk cut a promo thanking fans for coming to the taping, while taking a shot at Hangman Adam Page. It was then reported that Page was actually supposed to be at the tapings — albeit in an off-seen capacity — but was told he needed to do his pre-tape elsewhere.

Page isn’t the only man to have been turned away from the show in recent times, with a report from Fightful Select noting that Ryan Nemeth was booked to appear on the show before also being told that the booking had been changed and he was sent home. Nemeth has been critical of Punk in the past.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer revealed these were not isolated incidents with Matt Hardy being kept away from tapings and Christopher Daniels being told not to go to Collision. This is despite him being AEW’s Head of Talent Relations.

“[Alvarez – This has happened to Ryan Nemeth at least once before] Well Matt Hardy was booked on a Saturday, went there and was told not to go to the building, that was not last night. Christopher Daniels for whatever reason, same thing happened with him, he’s not supposed to go on Saturday, and he is fricking Head of Talent Relations. There may be others, but those are the ones that I know of.”

What Did CM Punk Say About Hangman Adam Page On AEW Collision?

Once the August 12th edition of Collision went off the air, CM Punk got on the microphone and was cutting a promo when he spotted a sign in the crowd supporting Adam Page. At this, CM Punk turned his attention to Page and said he was a “peg warmer” because no one buys his action figures and merchandise.

In recent news, Dave Meltzer revealed some more details on CM Punk and Ryan Nemeth’s confrontation.
