Tony Khan Does Not Want To Comment On CM Punk & Adam Page Situation

Tony Khan cuts a promo on AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan has broken his silence on the events that took place at the August 12th episode of AEW Collision.

Following fan footage showing CM Punk speaking his mind on Adam Page after the cameras stopped rolling, further reports came out regarding what happened that night in Greensboro. It has since been revealed that not only was Page refused entry to the building, but he was not the only one, with Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels also on the refused entry list.

In an interview ahead of Fight For The Fallen on Wednesday, August 16th, Khan spoke to the Battleground Podcast. Naturally, the hosts had to ask the owner of the company about the headlines in the media.

When Khan was asked whether he had anything to say regarding the reported issues that took place between Punk and Page at the Collision taping, the AEW President had nothing further to say on the matter, but appreciates the fans’ interest:

“No, not really. I thought it was a great show on Saturday night. I don’t have any further comment to that, but I’m glad people are still very interested in our wrestlers and what’s happening after the wrestling shows. We’ll try to have a couple of great shows this week, and certainly, there has been a lot of interest in what’s happening in AEW in it and out of the ring,” he said.

Further information would come to light as the day went on, including a previous altercation that took place between Punk and Ryan Nemeth following a social media post made by Nemeth on the day that Punk returned to the company.

Tony Khan Looks To The Future

Not wanting to speak about the events of Collision publicly, Khan is focusing on the big shows that All Elite Wrestling has coming up, including the record-setting All In, All Out one week later and Grand Slam later in September.

In recent news it was reported that Tony Khan re-hired Ace Steel as a concession to CM Punk.
