AEW has shared a tribute to Bray Wyatt.

On August 24th it was confirmed that Bray Wyatt – -real name Windham Rotunda — had passed away aged just 36. The news came via a message from Triple H on social media and was followed by an immediate outpouring of emotion from colleagues and fans around the world.

The star was known as one of the greatest creative minds the wrestling industry had seen in years and was beloved backstage. As the tributes come flooding in, AEW shared its own message, expressing gratitude for his “incredible contributions” to the wrestling business.

“AEW joins the entire wrestling world in mourning the loss of Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt. A third-generation wrestler, Windham proudly carried on his family’s legacy by forging his own incredible path to superstardom.

Windham’s unique style and persona showcased his passion for the industry and desire for innovation.

AEW sends its deepest condolences to Windham’s family, friends and fans. We are forever grateful for all his incredible contributions to the industry.”

In recent news, Ted DiBiase revealed that Bray Wyatt was set to return to WWE in September before he passed away.

Proceeds From Bray Wyatt’s Merchandise To Go To His Family

WWE has now confirmed that proceeds from Bray Wyatt merchandise will go to his partner JoJo Offerman and his children. The following message was posted on WWE’s merchandise store.

In the wake of Bray Wyatt’s death, WWE will donate all net proceeds to support JoJo Offerman and his children.
