Iyo Sky Set To Make WWE WarGames History At Survivor Series

Iyo Sky is set to break a major WWE WarGames record at Survivor Series later this month.

During last night’s edition of SmackDown, Becky Lynch announced that she will be competing in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series next weekend. Lynch rounds out the team of Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Bianca Belair who’ll take on Damage CTRL’s Bayley, Iyo Sky, Asuka, and Kairi Sane inside the structure.

With that match set in stone, Sky is on course to make history by setting a huge new record at the Premium Live Event. She will not only continue her streak of having competed in every Women’s WarGames match in history but will also have competed in the most WWE WarGames matches of anyone – having competed in five of them.

The record is currently held by seven stars who each have four WWE WarGames matches under their belts. Iyo and her Damage CTRL stablemate Dakota Kai are the only women to hold the record whilst Butch, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong round out the men who hold the accolade.

As neither Butch nor Kai will compete in WarGames matches this year, on top of the four former members of The Undisputed ERA no longer being with the company, the current WWE Women’s Champion is set to surpass all six of her co-record-holders when she competes at Survivor Series.

What Is IYO SKY’s Win/Loss Record Inside WarGames?

Despite being on track to have the most WWE WarGames experience of anyone, Iyo Sky has only been victorious in one WarGames match out of the four she’s competed in.

After two consecutive losses at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in 2019 and 2020, Sky finally got her first WarGames victory in the 2021 Women’s WarGames match which was the last to take place in NXT. There, she was victorious alongside Cora Jade, Raquel Gonzalez, and Kay Lee Ray over Toxic Attraction and Dakota Kai.
