AEW Re-Signed Christian Cage To A “Big Fat Contract”

AEW Re-Signed Christian Cage To A

Christian Cage has announced that he has signed a new deal with AEW.

Cage originally joined AEW in 2021 after leaving WWE due to being forced into retirement. Despite previously being forced to step away from the ring, Cage has made a triumphant return and has become a prominent member of the AEW roster.

In recent months, Cage has formed a successful partnership with Luchasaurus, a fan-favourite competitor. Together, they have captured the attention of the wrestling world and have achieved great success. Most notably, Cage played a pivotal role in helping Luchasaurus win the prestigious TNT Championship.

AEW CEO Tony Khan has been vocal in his support of Cage’s signing and has praised the impact he has had on the company. During the AEW All Outpost-show press conference, Cage took the opportunity to address his critics:

It might have been some of you people who said I wasn’t worth the hype. I think I’ve proved you all wrong now

He also revealed that he had been re-signed to a new contract, expressing his gratitude to Khan:

I know I proved Tony Khan right because he just re-signed me to a big fat contract. He opened the vault for me and I deserve every single penny that I got.

Was Christian Cage At AEW All Out?

Christian Cage was not in action at All Out, however, he did accompany Luchasaurus to the ring in his match against Darby Allin for the AEW TNT Championship. During the match, Cage helped Luchasaurus get the win to retain his title.

Although Christian Cage did not wrestle at All Out, he did wrestle in a coffin match at All In, teaming with Swerve Strickland against Allin and Sting.

Also at the press conference, Cage refused to answer any questions regarding what is next for Edge.
