Matt Hardy Heaps Praise On AEW Role Model Bryan Danielson

Matt Hardy AEW

Matt Hardy believes that everyone in AEW can benefit from Bryan Danielson being a part of the company.

The American Dragon has now been All Elite for over two years following the surprise debut at All Out 2021. Since then, Danielson has left an extremely positive impression both inside and outside the ring by putting on multiple match-of-the-year contenders and reportedly being a part of the creative team on multiple occasions.

Hardy added to the praise of Danielson during an episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast. Hardy credited Danielson’s ability to go the extra mile to help talent and how he leads by example:

Bryan Danielson is great. I can’t say enough positive good things about him. I mean, since he’s come in, he has been the role model and the teacher that you want, because he’s very understanding and if someone wants to work out, he’s there to get with them. He’ll be there early to work with people, whatever, but he’s also very level-headed. He’s very calm. He has an amazing mentality. And he just loves pro wrestling.

Obviously, everyone knows that. But he is just the perfect guy to transition into a position of being a leader and being able to help mould younger talent. He’s an exemplary human being and exemplary talent as well. So lots of love for Bryan Danielson.

Has Matt Hardy Ever Wrestled Bryan Danielson?

Despite being in multiple companies at the same time, fans have never gotten to see a match between Hardy and Danielson. The former World Champion has competed against Jeff Hardy on multiple occasions. The most famous encounter came in 2019 when Bryan was The Planet’s Champion and faced Hardy 1 week after the eco-friendly title was introduced.
