Major WWE Star “A Little Annoyed” By Exclusion From Money In The Bank

WWE Money In The Bank

Throughout his WWE career, Kevin Owens has never been afraid to put his body on the line, and he’s a little frustrated that he just missed out on an opportunity to do just that.

Since joining the company in 2014, the former Universal Champion has wrestled in just about every kind of match there is. But there’s one particular kind of match that he’s taken a real shine to, Ladder Matches.

Arguably the most famous Ladder Match in all of WWE is the Money In The Bank Ladder Match which has seen stunts and death-defying feats for years, including from Owens. However, in 2023 Owens wasn’t on the card for the event in London, let alone in the famous match itself. Instead, Owens teamed with Sami Zayn a night earlier on SmackDown to defend the World Tag Team Titles against Pretty Deadly.

Speaking to Mark Andrews on My Love Letter To Wrestling, admitted he was a bit annoyed to be missing out on the chance to throw himself from a ladder.

“I’m actually a little annoyed I’m not in it this year. I love ladders. I love ladder matches, I think I thrive in them. To not get to do it kind of sucks,”

Has Kevin Owens Ever Won WWE Money In The Bank?

Despite his love for Ladder Matches, Kevin Owens has actually never held the Money In The Bank briefcase. However, this is one of the few accolades Owens hasn’t won during his time in WWE, the only other major blemish being the Royal Rumble.
