Tiffany Stratton Claims She Will Be Main Eventing WrestleMania “Sooner Rather Than Later”

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton has boldly claimed that she will soon headline WrestleMania.

The former NXT Women’s Champion unsuccessfully challenged ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch for the title at NXT No Mercy, but many believe she is destined for main roster stardom.

Stratton defeated Gigi Dolin, Roxanne Perez and Lara Valkyria in a single elimination tournament to lift the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground on 28th May 2023 and held on to the gold until Lynch would defeat her to lift the title on the September 12th edition of NXT.

Stratton took to Instagram to make the claim that she would headline the ‘showcase of the immortals’ in the near future:

“Name an assignment I didn’t understand

I’ve always loved the idea of not being what people expect me to be, but tonight was different. The man @beckylynchwwe brought it to me on another level unlike anyone ever has, but I brought it right back, I said what I said and I’m not going anywhere.

See you all in the main event of WrestleMania sooner rather than later! Toodles.”

Which Women Have Headlined WrestleMania?

Statton’s opponent at NXT No Mercy, Becky Lynch, was one of three women to have the honour of being the first to headline WrestleMania.

Lynch defeated ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the main event of WrestleMania 35, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 7th April 2019. ‘The Man’ lifted both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship’s in the process.

The ground-breaking bout paved the way for two more of WWE’s top female Superstars to headline the company’s top premium live event two years later.

Night one of WrestleMania 37, held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida saw Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks meet for the SmackDown Women’s Championship with the ‘EST of WWE’ claiming her first major WWE title.
