Jerry Lawler has revealed a new look in a rare public appearance.

‘The King’ has been recuperating out of the spotlight after suffering a massive stroke at his Florida home on 6th February.

Lawler had been out to lunch with friends earlier in the day, and sometime after that suffered a medical episode and was rushed to the hospital.

Lawler had appeared on WWE television just days earlier as part of the panel for the Kick-Off Show for the Royal Rumble on January 28th. The popular announcer had also made an appearance five days earlier on the 30th anniversary special of Monday Night Raw, where he briefly served as a guest commentator.

Reports suggested that the 73 year-old had been found face down and was rushed to the hospital before undergoing surgery. The veteran Superstar, who also suffered a stroke back in 2018, initially lost feeling in his right side and suffered from affected speech.

News soon became more promising, however, with Lawler’s long-time friend and broadcast partner Jim Ross taking to social media to provide a positive update in the days after the serious medical incident. After speaking with the WWE Hall of Famer. Ross noted at the time that Lawler was understandably weak but he was able to understand him despite his affected speech. JR added that the “prognosis” was positive.

The WWE Hall Of Famer made a welcome return in his first live appearance since the medical episode during a commercial break on the August 28th episode of WWE Raw.

Lawler was brought out by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, much to the delight of fans in attendance at the FedEx Forum in his home town of Memphis, Tennessee.

Lawler has continued his recovery ever since, but was recently seen sporting a new look at a Memphis Football game.
