WWE Creative Not Discussing CM Punk

CM Punk on AEW Collision

The reports of CM Punk’s potential coming back to WWE has be the talk of the early weekend, and it will likely continue to cause madness as new information has surfaced about the recently terminated AEW star.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest Wrestling Observer that the two camps of Punk and WWE have been talking about a potential return with speculation that he could come back at Survivor Series in Chicago.

Additionally, Haus Of Wrestling previously reported that those on the Punk side of things believe that what transpired backstage at AEW would not hinder a potential Punk return to WWE.

While much of what has been reported isn’t anything crystal clear the latest report from Fightful says that as of two weeks ago, CM Punk has not been discussed in any creative capacity inside Titan Towers. There has been a few potential teases on social media with WWE regarding CM Punk, but Fightful’s sources said that those teases were circumstancial and were not intended for such.

Has Anybody In WWE Gotten Word On A CM Punk Return?

While there appears to be interest from CM Punk coming back to WWE, it remains to be seen if that feeling is legitimately reciprocated. As it stands of this writing, Fightful’s sources haven’t been clued in about Punk coming back to WWE that Punk still has a “ton of heat” in WWE.

That being said, CM Punk has left plenty of meat on the bone that he and WWE can pick from if he does make a return, be it from his past with WWE, his heat with AEW or both.
