Carlito is back in WWE and the former Intercontinental Champion thinks Bad Bunny is very cool for helping.
Carlito Colon returned to WWE programming over the weekend at Fastlane and the work he put into getting back on the mainstream has not escaped him, but he had a bunch of people to thank, but one name he singled out in particular. Carlito shared the following on Instagram:
“13 years!!! It was a long road back. Thank you WWE Universe for making lots of noise every time I’d pop out of the shadow. Thanks to you(and a little help from Bad Bunny) I’m back! A mis Latinos y Boricuas, es mi mayor honor representarnos donde sea en el mundo que me pare!!”
Carlito has a good reason to be thankful for Bad Bunny as he got a “Road Warrior pop” when he made the surprise run-in to help regulate Bad Bunny in his Backlash match against Damian Priest. Carlito has been signed by WWE for months and was reportedly at some live events, but he hasn’t been on WWE programming until Fastlane.

Fans continued to put their foot on the gas for Carlito at Fastlane when he became the surprise “third man” for Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Carlito came out to a huge pop as he was the missing piece to the babyface puzzle as he got the hot tag and eventually, the winning pinfall against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
It’s been reported that Carlito will be a member of the SmackDown brand.
