Triple H Proponent Of Significant Morale Boost Backstage

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H

People backstage at WWE are feeling “damn good” with Triple H reportedly in full control of creative.

The Chief Content Officer was previously noted to be the creative go-to guy for TKO Holdings when it comes to the “week-to-week” operations and Vince McMahon’s role in that matter is nearly non-existent.

A follow-up report from Fightful Select provided further clarity on the matter, reaffirming that the major belief backstage is that Vince McMahon is not dabbling in creative. Although none of their sources worked directly with Vince, who has been working mostly remote since returning this year, one higher-up spoke to the likely proof that McMahon is not meddling.

“I think you can take a look at the show — Johnny Gargano is back after his return was nixed. Tegan Nox is on the show. Dragon Lee is all over the program. Carlito is finally factored in after being under contract for months. Cameron Grimes got back on TV. Bronson Reed is winning matches. Tag team titles and IC titles are getting long matches to end Raw. I’m not going to say that all of those are direct results of the situation, but all of those parts moving at the same time is a little too much to be a coincidence for me.”

Triple H Brings A “Sense Of Relief” To The Roster

Without Vince McMahon’s thumb on the WWE creative sale, much of the roster is reportedly feeling a “sense of relief” without the watchful eye of the WWE Chairman following his initial retirement. The recent boost in morale reportedly started around two weeks ago on the September 25 episode of WWE Raw.

It’s been reported that WWE is now a “Triple H show.”
