Has Vince McMahon’s creative role been axed since the WWE and Endeavor merger? A new report suggests that’s the belief within the company.

PWInsider has stated in the latest PWI Elite audio that several people within WWE are currently of the believe that Vince McMahon has been greatly diminished if not virtually eliminated after the company became under the umbrella of TKO Holdings. Word is that Triple H has been basically “knighted” as the go-to guy for creative, so much that he’s 99.9% steering the ship moving forward

PWInsider was quoted with the following, noting that McMahon may have a touch of input, but the overall operation belongs to The Game.

“Kinda feel like there will be a tug-of-war and sometimes Vince will give his thoughts and they’ll go with what Vince wants. But, I’m told that week-to-week in the weeds, they are going with what Triple H wants.”

The report has been confirmed by Sports Illustrated, who say that the decision to remove Vince McMahon from the creative process was taken by Endeavour CEO Ari Emanuel.

Vince McMahon Meddled In WWE Creative Since His Return To The Company

While Triple H took full hold of the booking reins after Vince McMahon’s initial exit in July 2022, McMahon did happen to make changes to the product upon his return. Several changes would be made to the cards of both WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown with either matches being changed or completely removed. However, McMahon would mostly be making such moves remotely.

Before the merger took place, McMahon was also temporarily away from any aspects of the business due to major spinal surgery. McMahon was sure to attend TKO Holdings celebrating the new merger on Wall Street.
