Randy Orton Shooting For A Return At A Specific WWE PLE

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is hoping for a return to the WWE ring in a little over a month.

Fightful Select is reporting that both WWE and Randy Orton himself are setting sights for a Viper comeback at Survivor Series in Chicago.

Orton has been out of action for over a year as The Legend Killer has been dealing with a serious back injury. The 14-time World Champion has reportedly been advised by doctors to never wrestle again, but it looks like Orton has other plans.

Randy Orton last wrestled in May of 2022 and the landscape of WWE is much different since he last hit a RKO. At the time, Orton was a Raw Tag Team Champion with Matt Riddle, who is no longer with WWE and an old rival, John Cena is now back in the WWE fold.

What Has Randy Orton Been Up To In His Absence?

Randy Orton hasn’t been resting easy on his laurels despite the injury. Word has gotten around that Orton is looking in great shape and Randy has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center. His Hall Of Fame father, Bob Orton, confirmed that Orton was getting ring ready in a conversation with Bill Apter back in May.

“He’s training, so we’ll see what happens; I don’t know. If he feels like he’s ready to go back, I think he might, but again he’s pretty well taken care of. I don’t think he need [sic] to. And I think the doctors have told him not to. But Randy will do what Randy wants to do.”

Orton has also found some time for recreational activities as well. Orton paid $1,000 to a fan to help him level up his character on the video game of Elden Ring.
