Randy Orton Spotted At WWE Performance Center

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is nearing a return to the ring.

The Viper has been out of action for well over a year, but it seems there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

After being written off television in 2022, things went quiet but it later came to light that Orton had undergone surgery on a back injury that had been getting increasingly worse.

There were reports that Randy Orton’s career hung in the balance, and there were suggestions doctors had advised him never to wrestle again.

However, in more recent months Orton was said to be working out and looking “huge,” although he wasn’t wrestling. Fast forward to September 2023, and the star is very much narrowing in on a return to the ring.

A fan video has emerged showing Orton arriving at the Performance Center in Orlando. This was followed by a report from Fightful Select noting that Orton has been getting in some work in a bid to return to the ring.

WWE has a strict policy regarding returning talents, meaning they all have to work out at the facility ahead of returning to TV.

When Did Randy Orton Get Injured

Randy Orton hasn’t wrestled since the May 20th, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown where he and Matt Riddle lost the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos. After the match, both Riddle and Orton were on the receiving end of a vicious beatdown and this was used to explain Orton’s absence.

After months of speculation, Randy Orton has been confirmed to return to WWE at Survivor Series.
