Seth Rollins To Defend World Heavyweight Title At Crown Jewel

Seth Rollins will put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line at the Crown Jewel premium live event on Saturday, November 4th.

Seth Rollins will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the formidable Drew McIntyre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The match was officially announced during Monday’s Raw show, where Rollins delivered an in-ring promo to open the show.

The segment began with Rollins teasing the possibility of vacating his World Heavyweight title due to injury. However, he quickly dismissed the idea, declaring that his reign was just getting started. It was at this moment that McIntyre made his presence known, storming to the ring and issuing a challenge to Rollins for a title match.

Initially, Rollins assumed that the challenge was meant for Raw, but McIntyre had a different plan in mind. He wanted Rollins to be at his absolute best, challenging him to a match at Crown Jewel. Rollins, never one to back down from a challenge, accepted without hesitation.

The drama continued to unfold as Damian Priest made a surprise attack on Rollins, with McIntyre watching from the stage. McIntyre allowed the assault to take place and just as it seemed that Priest would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, Dominik Mysterio entered the fray, but McIntyre stopped him in his tracks, leaving Rollins to deal with Priest on his own.

Later in a backstage segment, Rollins revealed that on-screen authority figure Adam Pearce had made the bout official for Crown Jewel. He also took the opportunity to criticise McIntyre for playing mind games, fuelling speculation of a potential McIntyre heel turn.

Seth Rollins has since expressed his excitement at the match-up.
