Bully Ray Critical Of Seth Rollins

Bully Ray has criticised Seth Rollins over his selling on the latest episode of WWE Raw.

In a recent episode of Raw, Seth Rollins walked out to the ring dancing and celebrating just days after his gruelling Last Man Standing Match against Shinsuke Nakamura. This choice did not sit well with wrestling veteran Bully Ray, who expressed his disappointment on the Busted Open podcast.

Ray criticised WWE for downplaying the physical toll that Rollins had endured in his match with Nakamura. He argued that the World Heavyweight Champion should have shown signs of the back injury he sustained, such as walking with a limp or visibly favouring his shoulder. According to Ray, this lack of selling undermined the credibility of the match and the believability of Rollins’ injury.

These are the things that annoy me. You killed the credibility of the match, and the believability of the [back] injury. You killed everything Shinsuke Nakamura did to you — bumps off of ladders, going through tables, falcon arrows through tables … everything … and not even a limp? Not even a grabbing of the shoulder? Come on! We all know the WWE and Seth Rollins are smarter than that.

Ray further chastised Rollins for dancing and not wearing a more sombre expression on his face, considering the war he had just gone through against Nakamura. He believed that this conveyed a message to the fans that WWE did not care about the Fastlane match.

The wrestling veteran expressed his frustration with the lack of selling in the industry, emphasising the importance of selling both during and after matches. He argued that it was essential for wrestlers to maintain the illusion of realism and respect the physical toll that their bodies endure.

What Is Next For Seth Rollins In WWE?

Seth Rollins has already moved on to his next challenger, Drew McIntyre, who confronted him on the recent episode of Raw. McIntyre challenged Rollins to a World Heavyweight Title match at Crown Jewel.
