Seth Rollins Excited To Run It Back With Drew McIntyre

Seth Rollins cuts a promo on WWE Raw

Seth Rollins has got his eye on another massive match at Crown Jewel.

The World Heavyweight Champion opened Raw coming off the back of a grueling and incredibly physical Last Man Standing match against Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane. Although Rollins emerged with his title reign intact, he suffered a great deal of punishment, which only added to the battering his body has taken in recent months.

During his rivalry with Nakamura, Rollins’ real-life back problems were often referenced.

Back on the red brand, Rollins teased giving up his title before saying that his title reign was only just getting started.

This brought Drew McIntyre who challenged Rollins to a match. The champion mistook the offer as a match for that night, but the Scottish star said he wanted to make sure Rollins was 100%.

Sensing an opportunity, Money In The Bank briefcase holder Damian Priest made his way to the stage. McIntyre allowed Priest to get in the ring and go after Rollins, but when Dominik Mysterio arrived with the briefcase he cut him off preventing the cash-in.

Later in the show, it was confirmed Seth Rollins will defend his title against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel on November 4th.

Posting on social media, Rollins said he was excited to get back in the ring with the Scottish Warrior.

In a recent interview, challenger Drew McIntyre commented on the possibility of a UK WrestleMania taking place in the near future.

When Did Seth Rollins Win The World Heavyweight Title?

Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Title back at Night of Champions in May. With victory, he became the first man to hold the title after it was created weeks earlier to ensure stars on Monday Night Raw had a World Title to fight for.

Since that night in Saudi Arabia, Rollins has seen off challenges from Shinsuke Nakamura, Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest.
