AEW Rampage Spoilers - September 29th, 2023

On October 10th, AEW rolled into the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, MO for Dynamite and Rampage.

The taping took place on a Tuesday due to the MLB Playoffs and that put Dynamite head-to-head with NXT. As such it was a loaded episode with a 30-minute buy-in, while the show was commercial-free for more than 40 minutes.

In the ring, the show saw two title changes as Hikaru Shida won the Women’s Championship and Orange Cassidy won the International Title. Shida’s win was especially noteworthy as she became the first-ever three-time Women’s Champion in AEW history.

Elsewhere on the show, Adam Copeland made a winning start to life in AEW, overcoming Luchasaurus, while Bryan Danielson became the number one contender for the TNT Title by overcoming Swerve Strickland.
