AEW Dynamite featured Orange Cassidy defending the International Title against Penta El Zero Miedo while more matches were set up for All Out.

This week’s Dynamite took place at the NOW Arena with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone & Taz on commentary as usual.

Prior to Dynamite airing, AEW’s CEO Tony Khan tweeted/X about how there were illnesses and travel issues affecting this week’s show.

Match #1:Jon Moxley defeated Komander. Moxley won by submission with an armbar.

The Young Bucks & FTR talked in the locker room after AEW All In. Bullet Club Gold’s four man group interrupted to set up a match.

It’s official for AEW All Out this Sunday on PPV: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin & Colten Gunn) in an 8-man tag team match.

Chris Jericho did an in-ring promo apologizing to Sammy Guevara about shoving him after Jericho’s loss to Will Ospreay at AEW All In. They bickered a bit and threw some insults, but then Jericho eventually convinced Sammy to go after the AEW Tag Team Titles. Les Sex Gods are back as a team apparently.

Match #2: Eddie Kingston defeated Wheeler Yuta by pinfall after a spinning back fist.

MJF & Adam Cole were shown after AEW All In. They are defending the ROH Tag Team Titles at AEW All Out against winners of a battle royal on Rampage.

It was also announced that Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament will begin next week. The winner gets a World Title match against MJF at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20th.

Adam Cole was doing a promo in the ring when he was interrupted by Rodering Strong & The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett). The Kingdom claimed that Adam Cole was just going to use MJF like Cole used his other friends in the past. Cole said they were wrong. Strong said that he’s going to be in the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament. Cole told Strong he was not healthy due to his neck injury, but Strong insisted on it.

Match #3: Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Britt Baker defeated Marina Shafir, Nyla Rose & Emi Sakura with Statlander pinning Shafir. Baker accidentally kicked Shida during the match so Shida was mad about it.

After the match, Ruby Soho attacked Statlander with a jumping kick since they have a match at AEW All Out.

A new match was announced for AEW All Out on Sunday: Samoa Joe defends the ROH TV Title against Shane Taylor. They showed a brief video about Taylor.

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn did a promo celebrating their Trios Tag Team Title win at AEW All In. They unveiled new Trios Tag Team Titles that have pink straps and look like scissors at the end since they love “scisscoring” so much.

Match #4: Orange Cassidy defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the International Championship. Orange won with a crucifix pin hooking the arms and holding Penta to the mat for the three count.

Orange Cassidy did a rare in-ring promo saying he’s the champion who will defend it for as long as he wants. Jon Moxley interrupted with a slap, Orange delivered a punch and they had a staredown. Moxley did a middle finger salute and left. End show.
