Nick Jackson has reiterated there are no issues between the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes.
Despite both sides insisting otherwise, there continues to be speculation that problems between Rhodes and the Jackson brothers caused the American Nightmare to leave AEW. This theory recently came back to the fore after Rhodes said he had left the company due to a personal issue.
However, Nick Jackson has again moved to quieten the rumours. In a series of posts on his Instagram Stories, Jackson paid tribute to the men and women who had helped make AEW and All In a success. Nestled among the posts was praise for Cody Rhodes, the tag team star tagged Rhodes writing “This doesn’t happen without you.” He added “spoiler alert for the people who say we hate each other. That isn’t true.”
What Has Cody Rhodes Said About The Young Bucks?
For his part Cody Rhodes recently congratulated the Young Bucks on their new AEW contracts, having previously stated they speak now more than ever.
“I’m very happy when any wrestler or Superstar gets paid. I don’t want to sound carny or hacky but to know that your peers and people who take the bumps and go through all this and have that type of the physical struggle that comes with this gig, to know they’re getting paid is really exciting.
I am over the moon that that group did what they did because, as Nick Jackson said, I believe they’ve made some NBA money off of it.”
Upon signing their new deal with AEW, the Young Bucks became the highest-paid tag team in history.
