The Young Bucks Requirements For AEW Meeting With CM Punk Leaked

Dave Meltzer sheds light on the ongoing issues between CM Punk and The Young Bucks.

In the latest update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reported that The Young Bucks had set a condition for reconciling with Punk, stating that they would only consider doing business with him if a six-month period passed without any further conflicts. Meltzer wrote:

One person very close to the situation said that the Bucks had said if six months went by without any issues, they would have been willing to sit down and work with him.

According to Haus of Wrestling, a meeting had been set between CM Punk and The Elite, which includes The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, for August 23rd. However, the meeting was reportedly cancelled by The Elite’s camp.

Just days later on August 27th at All In, Punk was involved in a physical altercation with Jack Perry and Punk was said to have also threatened AEW owner Tony Khan to the point that Khan said he feared for his life.

Will CM Punk Come Back To AEW?

Currently, no news has surfaced about CM Punk returning to AEW and it seems very unlikely due to his firing only taking place a week ago that Punk will return to AEW in the near future.

There has been much speculation regarding Punk’s future whether it be in professional wrestling with another promotion such as WWE or Impact Wrestling. Or it has been speculated that he could return to the octagon with UFC. Only time will tell what is next for CM Punk.
