Nick Jackson Fires Back After Being Called A “Cancer Of Wrestling”

Whether you like them or not, The Young Bucks helped changed the game of pro wrestling and Nick Jackson knows such.

Nick Jackson shared a photo of him and his brother Matt with the simple caption saying “brotherly love” to which Matt wrote a loving response back to his Young Buck sibling.

“We changed the business. And we’ll be discredited until the day we’re both buried in the ground. But the ones who know, know. Forever grateful that I’ve not been on this journey alone, so that I know it wasn’t all just a dream. Love ya brother.”

The Young Bucks are polarizing figures in the world of wrestling and while many fans praised The Young Bucks for their efforts, they did have their share of detractors. One apparent fan of CM Punk (with the user name of “@pipebombmcgee”) called them a “cancer of wrestling” to which Nick Jackson responded.

“Haha helping get hundreds of wrestlers and production crew jobs and creating an alternative to wrestling is a weird way to think we’re a cancer to wrestling but please keep thinking that silly.”

Some may consider The Young Bucks being called a “cancer” ironic as it was Chris Jericho who notoriously labeled their biggest backstage rival, CM Punk a “cancer” following the infamous “Brawl Out” incident that occurred at AEW All Out 2022. While CM Punk has been terminated with cause from AEW, The Young Bucks, along with Kenny Omega and Hangman Page, recently signed multi-year deals with AEW. There were reports that CM Punk wanted to sit down for a meeting with The Young Bucks in an effort to mend fences, but that never came to fruition.
