Matt Jackson Teases Surprise On AEW Dynamite

Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson celebrate at AEW WrestleDream

Matt Jackson was in full tease mode on Being The Elite.

It’s been another massive week in the life of AEW with the shock debut of Adam Copeland at WrestleDream putting the cherry on top of a night of quality action.

While it was known Copeland was a free agent, and there had been rumours he would be heading to AEW, many fans expected him to remain with WWE. However, that idea was blasted out of the water as Alter Bridge’s Metalingus crescendoed around the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. But, according to Matt Jackson, there could be more surprises on the way.

Speaking on Being The Elite, Jackson said he had a “little bit of a surprise” for Dynamite.

“Just don’t forget it. Denver. There we go. There’s been a lot of shows. Obviously, we’ve had shows. We’re trying to travel from the West Coast to the East Coast every single week. Besides, this one’s in Denver. It’s been a lot. It’s taxing. Guess what? Big night for us, right? Adam Copeland debuts. We got our future title match. Yeah, Big things. I would like to do that, by the way.

We’re all tired, so I have a little bit of a surprise to make, travel, a little bit of a surprise for us this Wednesday coming up. Stay tuned. I think you guys are all going to be happy. Rick’s invited, too.”

Nick And Matt Jackson Heading For World Tag Team Title Match

WrestleDream was a good night for the Young Bucks as the Jackson brothers earned a shot at AEW gold. The former champions saw off the Lucha Bros, The Gunns, and Orange Cassidy and Hook to earn a shot at the World Tag Team Titles.

The match sets up a fourth clash with FTR who retained their titles at the same event with a win over Aussie Open.
