Becky Lynch Requires 11 Stitches Following NXT No Mercy

Becky Lynch makes entrance at NXT No Mercy

Becky Lynch suffered a laceration during her Extreme Rules match at NXT No Mercy.

In the main event of the show, Big Time Becks defended the NXT Women’s Championship against the woman she won it from on September 12th, Tiffany Stratton.

Stratton and Kiana James recently launched a vicious assault on Lynch, with the former champ attacking her with a steel chair. This led to Lynch declaring their rematch would be held under Extreme Rules.

The Man made use of the stipulation from the start, bringing a shopping cart full of weapons to the ring with her and immediately going to work on Stratton with a steel chair and then a kendo stick.

Stratton was able to make a comeback with her own kendo stick and a suplex on the floor before bringing out a toolbox full of weapons and hitting Lynhc with a wrench. The chaos continued with tables, the shopping cart, and even a barbed wire bat all coming into play.

The end came when Lynch avoided the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and Stratton crashed into a pile of chairs in the ring, The Man followed up with a Manhandle Slam onto the chairs for the pinfall win.

Becky Lynch didn’t escape NXT No Mercy unscathed

Following the show, Lynch took to social media to give respect to Stratton. She also revealed that she suffered a cut to her arm during the bout and posted a graphic picture of the wound, which Fightful Select has reported took 11 stitches to close.

NbeXT was rocking tonight.
The Man brought @tiffanywwe to the main event but she brought it to The Man. Respect. It wasn’t Tiffy time this time. But it will be again.
The world tour continues.
