Becky Lynch, the current NXT Women’s Champion, recently provided an update on her injury sustained during an Extreme Rules match.
The highly anticipated match took place at NXT No Mercy, where Becky Lynch successfully defended her title against former champion Tiffany Stratton. However, the intense battle left Lynch with a laceration on her arm, requiring 11 stitches to repair.
The Man took to social media to share images of her gruesome injury. As a result of her condition, Lynch was unable to receive medical clearance to defend her championship against Tegan Nox on the subsequent edition of Raw.
Eight days into her recovery, Lynch took to social media once again, this time sharing an update on her injury. She posted another image showing the stitches she had received, indicating that her wound was healing well.

Who Will Becky Lynch Defend Her NXT Women’s Title Against Next?
During a recent episode of NXT, Becky Lynch revealed that both she and Tiffany Stratton were not medically cleared to compete in the ring. Despite her injury, Lynch already has two challengers lined up for her title. Firstly, she is scheduled to face Tegan Nox at Raw and if she successfully retains her championship, her next opponent will be Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc.
It is currently unknown whether Lynch and Stratton’s feud is over following their Extreme Rules match at No Mercy, the rematch marks the only time on a live broadcast that Stratton has tried to reclaim her title but due to the rematch taking place in a marquee match on a PLE it is likely that this may be the last time that the two will compete for the championship in the near future.
