Becky Lynch and Sheamus are reportedly set to become free agents in 2024.
A new report from Fightful Select has listed both Becky Lynch and Sheamus to join Drew McIntyre as names whose contracts will end sometime in 2024. The report has Sheamus’ deal on tap to run out either in the first quarter or first half of the year which would put him in the same timeframe as McIntyre, but also reiterates that contracts always can come with caveats considering injuries, time off, etc. Either way, let the speculation begin on two of WWE’s top Irish-born stars in the history of the business.
Sheamus is currently out of action due to a serious shoulder injury.
Sheamus & Becky Lynch Have Lengthy Careers In WWE
Sheamus, who will turn 46 years old when 2024 rolls around, is one of WWE’s longest-tenured stars who remains active. Like Kofi Kingston, Sheamus first got his start on the ECW brand in 2009 but has been a part of the company since 2007.
He’s one of the company’s most decorated stars as far as accolades go, winning all the major titles except for the Intercontinental and events like King Of The Ring, Money In The Bank, and Royal Rumble.
As far as Becky Lynch is concerned, she’s been with WWE for over ten years now, first signing back in April 2013. These ten years have completely come full circle for “The Man” as she started with NXT and now happens to be the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. Surprisingly enough, Lynch never captured the title in her initial tenure down in the black and gold.
