Tony Khan Takes Shot At Vince McMahon

Tony Khan Vince McMahon

Tony Khan has been getting feisty on social media, with Vince McMahon in the firing line.

On October 10th, AEW Dynamite and NXT will go head-to-head, and naturally, fans on social media have reacted in a calm and composed manner. Although, both AEW and WWE are pulling out all the stops.

It’s been announced that the first 30 minutes of NXT will be commercial-free, while Paul Heyman, John Cena, Asuka, and Cody Rhodes will be on the show. There have even been hints that The Undertaker could make an appearance.

On the other side of the fence, AEW has announced a 30-minute buy-in, secured a 10-minute overrun, and stacked the card on what’s been dubbed “Title Tuesday.”

As fans have continued to go back and forth on social media, Tony Khan took the chance to get involved. When one poster said they wouldn’t be watching, the AEW boss replied with a “who gives a f*ck” gif of Roderick Strong, and “Ok, we won’t see you tomorrow night for Title Tuesday #AEWDynamite then!”

This caused another user to jump in, writing “If Sir Vince McMahon said this, there would be many failed AEW fans crying non-stop and furious. 😭😭😭 #Hypocrites.”

Upping the ante even further, Khan shot back “If Sir Vince McMahon said this, it would be the least of his alleged misdeeds.”

The “alleged misdeeds” refer to the sexual misconduct scandal that caused McMahon to ‘retire’ in July 2022.

Vince McMahon Steps Back From WWE Creative

The comments come after it was reported that Vince McMahon has taken a step back from WWE creative. Triple H is again said to be fully in charge and has been backed in this regard by Endeavor.

This shift has reportedly caused a significant improvement in morale.
