Adam Copeland On His Full-Time AEW Run: “There’s A Lot More Work That Goes Into It Now”

Adam Copeland Ready For First Full-Time Run In 12 Years

AEW star Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge, has spoken about how much things have changed since his last full-time run.

Adam Copeland is feeling great after his debut in AEW at the WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1st. The former WWE star recently secured his first victory in AEW on the October 10th episode of Dynamite, defeating Luchasaurus in a singles match. In a recent interview with The Masked Man Show, Copeland discussed his health and how he is preparing for his first full-time run in professional wrestling since 2011.

Although Copeland feels great, he acknowledges that there is now more work involved in maintaining his physical condition. He has incorporated post-work activities such as cold plunges, sauna sessions, and daily stretching into his routine. Copeland admitted that he used to take these practices for granted but now recognises their importance.

I feel great, I really do, there’s just a lot more work that goes into it now. There’s a lot more post work, in terms of, I’m hopping in the cold plunge and the sauna and I’m stretching an hour a day now, things that I took for granted before that I just didn’t do before.

Additionally, he mentioned the benefits of meal prep companies, which help him maintain a healthy diet while on the road. Copeland brings his own meals and ensures that nothing feels out of balance.

Also, when I was on the road the last time, there weren’t meal prep companies, there wasn’t any of that stuff. If you got out of the building at midnight, it was Waffle House if you were lucky. So, that has greatly helped in terms of maintaining yourself. I bring my meals with me on the road, I heat them up so nothing feels out of whack.

Despite the increased demands of his schedule, Adam Copeland remains committed to wrestling at the highest level. He wants to continue performing until he no longer inspires young wrestlers to step into the ring with him. Copeland believes that he can tell captivating stories for a couple of years, and he is excited about potential matchups with talented wrestlers in AEW. With a gym in his house, Copeland is determined to stay in peak physical condition and make the most of this opportunity.

What Does Adam Copeland Think About The AEW Vs WWE Debate?

Adam Copeland also discussed the current debate of AEW vs WWE during this interview and expressed that he isn’t interested in the supposed “war” and that he is only focused on playing his part on the show and making sure that whenever he is on screen that he puts on the best performance possible.
