Adam Copeland Could Bring Back Classic WWE Theme In AEW

Adam Copeland makes AEW collision entrance

Adam Copeland could bring back an iconic theme from his early WWE days.

Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at WrestleDream on October 1st. To the surprise of many, his he was able to use almost his entire WWE presentation, from his ‘Rated-R Superstar’ nickname to his longtime theme music, Metalingus by Alter Bridge.

The only thing he had to change was his name, no longer able to go by Edge, the star now uses his real name.

With regards to the theme music he has used since 2004, Copeland is known to be good friends with Alter Bridge, and has previously said he will take it wherever he goes.

However, that doesn’t mean we won’t hear another classic track the star has used as entrance music. Between 2001 and 2004, Copeland was played to the ring by Rob Zombie’s ‘Never Gonna Stop.’ Many fans from the era still associate him with the song as he used it during his rise from a Tag Team Champion to one of the top stars in WWE.

Would Adam Copeland use Rob Zombie track in AEW?

During a recent appearance on The Masked Man Show, Copeland was asked about using ‘Never Gonna Stop’ in AEW.

The star admitted that he thinks it would be a fun thing to do, saying “you never know.”

You never know. Being a music nerd myself, to me, it sets the whole tone. For me, standing back there, and knowing that’s about to play and come flying out of the chute, it’s really important for me to set the tone and get me into that place.

“Metalingus and I, we’ve become kind of synonymous together. It’s been 20 years now, friends with the band, just great dudes.

“That was really important to me, but it’s also fun to think that there my be a time where ‘My Durango’ pops up, you never know.”
