Johnny Gargano Returns To WWE Raw To Save Tommaso Ciampa

The WWE Universe witnessed the long-awaited return of Johnny Gargano on the October 2nd episode of WWE Raw.

The night was headlined by Tommaso Ciampa’s challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Gunther. Despite Ciampa’s valiant effort, Gunther emerged victorious, leaving Ciampa vulnerable to the vicious onslaught of Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.

However, just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the familiar music of Johnny Gargano hit the arena. The crowd erupted with excitement as Gargano sprinted down the ramp to save his former tag team partner. This marked Gargano’s first appearance on Raw in months.

The duo of Gargano and Ciampa, known as DIY, wasted no time in turning the tide. Gargano delivered an apron spear to Kaiser and delivered a barrage of punches to Vinci before superkicking both men.

Gargano and Ciampa then delivered their Meeting in the Middle finishing move to Vinci to close the show. However, before they could hit the move the live feed of the show cut off meaning fans watching on TV didn’t actually get to see the two Superstars hit their finishing move. The recording has since been uploaded to social media in full.

Johnny Gargano has since thanked fans for their support.

When Was Johnny Gargano Last On WWE Raw?

Gargano’s absence from WWE TV had left fans wondering about his future with the company. While he had made appearances at live events, the last time Gargano competed on Raw was on May 15th.

Recently it was revealed that the original plans for the Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano reunion for earlier in the year were scrapped.
