Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are back together.
On the October 2nd episode of Raw, Ciampa challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. However, the former NXT Champion was ultimately successful, and then promptly attacked by Giovanni Vinci and Lugwig Kaiser.
With Ciampa being laid out, Johnny Gargano ran in to make the save, reuniting with his best friend. The appearance was Gargano’s first on Raw since May 15th.
Posting on social media after the show, Gargano addressed fans, adding that he heard their calls for DIY to get back together.

When Did Johnny Gargano And Tommaso Ciampa Team Before?
The careers and legacies of Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano will forever be intertwined. The pair first clashed during their time on the independent scene prior to joining WWE, but it was as part of NXT that their almost Shakespearean story went to new heights.
The two teamed together in the Dusty Rhodes Classic in 2015, before formally becoming known as DIY, the following summer. DIY climbed to the top of the NXT Tag Team Mountain at TakeOver: Toronto by defeating The Revival.
Over the following years, they’ve broken up and gotten back together more times than lovesick teenagers with their rivalry through 2018 and 2019 in particular being routinely praised by fans.
Along with a new run together, the WWE team have been confirmed to be getting a new entrance theme very soon.
