Bobby Lashley Returns On WWE SmackDown

Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley made a fleeting, but very interesting, appearance on WWE SmackDown.

On the July 14th episode of the blue brand, Jey Uso swore revenge for the attack on his brother, the women’s division descended into complete chaos and Santos Escobar took a step closer to the United States Title.

The show also saw the return of former World Champion Bobby Lashley. Interestingly, the All-Mighty appears to have his eyes on more than just making up the numbers and bringing the fight to the roster solo.

During the show, the camera cut backstage to the Street Profits who were waiting for someone to arrive, who had promised they’d be there. Then a black limo pulled up and Lashley got out to greet the pair asking if they were ready to talk before the trio left together.

When Did Bobby Lashley Wrestle In WWE?

Bobby Lashley had been absent from WWE since the May 12th episode of SmackDown when he took part in a tournament to decide a new World Heavyweight Champion. Lashley won a Triple Threat Match involving Austin Theory and Sheamus before being defeated by AJ Styles in the semi-finals.

Since then, Lashley has wrestled on four live events, although the last of these matches came on June 25th against Baron Corbin.

Bobby Lashley returned to WWE in 2018 after a spell with IMPACT Wrestling. Since then he’s been World Champion twice, United States Champion three times while also squeezing in an Intercontinental Title win.
