The Street Profits Turn Heel On WWE SmackDown

The Street Profits attack the Brawling Brutes on SmackDown

The Street Profits have officially united with Bobby Lashley.

On the August 4th episode of SmackDown the Brawling Brutes to into a brawl (should have been obvious) with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows backstage. This led to a frustrated Adam Pearce telling the two sides to go and settle their differences in the ring.

Skip forward just a few minutes and the two teams were trying to do just that when they were interrupted by the Street Profits. However, this wasn’t the Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford fans have come to know and love, they arrived in sharp suits and with a new attitude, immediately putting the boots to both teams.

With the match ruined, and chaos in their wake, the pair headed back up the ramp where they were greeted by a smiling Bobby Lashley.

Has WWE Ever Tried To Break Up The Street Profits?

In recent times there have been growing calls to break the Street Profits up, with many fans and critics believing that Montez Ford could be a World Champion in waiting. However, to date — and seemingly for the foreseeable future — WWE has resisted the temptation. In fact, according to Ford himself, WWE has never pitched for the Street Profits to go their separate ways.

While the pair have lacked direction in recent months, their new allegiance with Lashley could be about to change all that. The trio was shown meeting in a limo back in July, and The All-Mighty has dropped hints that he would love to reform the Hurt Business, or at least a version of it in the future.

Recently the Street Profits made an appearance on the August 29th episode of NXT.
