WrestleMania Matches Announced For Nights One And Two

WrestleMania Edge

WrestleMania continues to take shape as matches have now been announced for Saturday and Sunday of the two-night spectacular.

Following Raw, The Miz vs. former 24/7 Champion Bad Bunny has been made official. As has Asuka defending her Raw Women’s Championship against recent Raw debutant Rhea Ripley.

These new matches were added to the already confirmed WWE Championship match between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. As well as the SmackDown Women’s Title match that sees Sasha Banks defend against Bianca Belair.

In addition, following Fastlane where Roman Reigns retained his WWE Universal Championship, The Tribal Chief will defend his title against Edge.

The WWE On Fox Twitter account has posted a graphic showing which nights these matches will now take place.

On Saturday, up to 25,000 fans in the Raymond James Stadium will be treated to McIntyre against Lashley, Belair taking on Banks and The Miz squaring off with rap superstar Bad Bunny.

Sunday night so far sees Ripley challenge Asuka and the presumed main event of WWE Hall Of Famer Edge facing Roman Reigns.

The WWE Universal Championship match could reportedly yet change. Following the Fastlane main event which saw Edge involve himself in the match and Roman Reigns tapping out to Bryan. Reports suggest that Bryan may be added to that match, making it a triple threat. So far there has been no confirmation around that.

WrestleMania takes place in the Raymond James Stadium on the 10th and 11th of April 2021. It is the second WrestleMania event taking place over an entire weekend. ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ will be available to watch on Peacock in the US, and elsewhere globally on the WWE Network.
