Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) vs Sasha Banks defeat Bianca Belair to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championship

  • Bianca and Baszler renew their classic NXT feud opening that match with a series of counters and signature strikes including Belair’s Handspring Elbow.
  • Jax and Banks are isolated from the action for the opening five minutes of the bout before Jax makes the tag taking out Banks at ringside.
  • Banks eventually makes a huge hot tag cleaning house and turning a Avalanche Slam attempt from Jax into a Meteora onto Baszler.
  • Belair and Banks are unable to get on and begin to argue, as the heat between the two grows Banks begins to walk off allowing Baszler to roll her up.
  • Post-match Banks hits Belair with the SmackDown Women’s Title seemingly turning heel on her WrestleMania challenger.

Big E (c) defeats Apollo Crews to retain the Intercontinental Championship

  • Match starts off on an intense note with Big E hitting a huge middle rope Suicide Dive onto Apollo following a series of ‘Best Friend’ punches.
  • Apollo hits a picture-perfect Frog Splash onto E before returning to a position of Waist control.
  • Big E manages to pick up the win by moving the momentum of Crew’s roll-up attempt back on him. [Possible Refereeing Error]
  • Post-Match Crews beats down Big E screaming that he will see him at WrestleMania.

Braun Strowman defeats Elias via pinfall

  • Shane McMahon is nursing a kayfabe injury and cannot compete against Braun tonight, Elias offers his services with Ryker to help take care of the Monster Amongst Men.
  • Elias uses distractions provided to maintain some level of influence over the match but ultimately he falls to the dominance of Strowman.
  • The Running Powerslam provides Strowman with a simple win.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Seth Rollins via pinfall

  • Pre-Match Rollins complains about WWE showing his post-match beatdown of Cesaro two weeks ago.
  • Nakamura and Rollins exchange strikes early on with Nakamura coming out on top of the exchange but a well timed blind shot from Rollins allows him to regain control.
  • Rollins attempts to add insult to injury by hitting Nakamura with The Swing but Shinsuke counters hitting Rollins with a knee to the back of the neck.
  • Landslide from Nakamura into a leg trapped pin gets a near-fall.
  • Seth Rollins hits Black Magic into the The Curb Stomp for the win.

Drew McIntyre defeats Sheamus in a No Holds Barred match

  • McIntyre sends The Celtic Warrior into the Steel Steps before trapping his hand between the steps and the ring apron.
  • Sheamus avoids a Kendo Stick shot by hitting the Brogue Kick and then hitting McIntyre with the Kendo Stick for good measure.
  • McIntyre sends Sheamus off the Announce Table into the Barricade before hitting Sheamus with a Glasgow Smile.
  • McIntyre sends Sheamus into the ThunderDome screens causing a ‘huge’ explosion.
  • White Noise through the announce tables signals a significant change in the matches momentum.
  • Future Shock DDT onto the remnants of the Announce Table followed up by the Claymore Kick allows McIntyre to pick up the win.

Alexa Bliss defeats Randy Orton via pinfall, The Fiend returns

  • Match starts with black tar coming out of the mouth of Randy Orton.
  • Orton is initially unable to attack Bliss due to a magical Wall of Fire.
  • ‘The Viper’ stalks Bliss around the ring barely avoiding being crushed under a falling section of the ThunderDome roof [summoned by Bliss]
  • Bliss fires a fireball at Orton’s eye again, similar to months ago, before The Fiend is reborn from his own ashes under the ring.
  • The Fiend complete with new Freddy Krueger gear returns hitting Orton with the Sister Abigail to allows Bliss to pick up the win.

Roman Reigns (c) defeats Daniel Bryan to retain the Universal Championship – Edge lays Daniel Bryan out with Steel Chair

  • Effective story early on of Bryan dominating the wrestling game whilst Roman dominates the power game.
  • Bryan traps Reigns’ arms on the diagonal before pushing the shoulders down using his feet however Reigns kicks out at two.
  • Reigns takes Bryan down to the outside with a huge Uppercut before throwing him to the outside.
  • Flying Knee from Bryan to the outside swings the momentum back in the challengers favour.
  • Bryan locks in the Cross-Face before rolling into an Arm-Trap variant.
  • Referee bump as a Flying Bryan Knee Strike misses Reigns, Edge steps in as acting official before Jey Uso steps in to hit Edge and Bryan with a series of Superkicks.
  • Bryan takes a Steel Chair off of Uso and lays him out of it, aiming to also hit Reigns with it he misdirects the shot hitting Edge instead.
  • Daniel Bryan counters a Spear attempt into the Cross-Face but no official is around to notice Reigns tap out.
  • Edge recovers and lays out Bryan and Reigns with a Steel Chair and although both men are hurt Reigns recovers first and gets an arm over Bryan to pick up the pinfall victory.
