Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania confirmed.

  • Commentary confirmes Lashley vs. McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
  • MVP reminds everybody that we are now in the All-Mighty Era and that Lashley got here by hard work and destorying everybody who stood in his way.
  • As Lashley runs down the roster, MVP and John Morrison make their way down the ring to appeal for a rematch.
  • The Miz references Stone Cold Steve Austin week saying that if the fans think he should have one more shot give him ‘ a hell yeah’.
  • As The Miz reaches the crescendo of his promo, Drew McIntyre makes his way out to congratulate Lashley but also to point out that although their paths to the WWE Championship are similar Drew did it with respect.
  • McIntyre confirms that on Sunday he will clash against his friend Sheamus at Fastlane before destroying the ‘Big, Bald, Bitch called Bobby Lashley’ and winning back his WWE Championship.
  • Lashley, MVP, Morrison and The Miz jump McIntyre before Sheamus joins in jumping Lashley on the ramp.

Drew McIntyre defeats The Miz [w/ John Morrison] via submission [The Hurt Lock]

  • Following Sheamus’ save of McIntyre’s beatdown, The Celtic Warrior justifies his actions stating that at Fastlane he wants McIntyre at 100% so he has no more excuses for losing.
  • Despite McIntyre being beaten down pre-match, The Scottish Warrior is able to dominate The Miz early on haulting all of the A-Listers momentum with a well placed Glasgow Kiss.
  • John Morrison saves The Miz from defeat via pulling him out the ring to avoid the Claymore Kick leading to him being evicted from ringside.
  • McIntyre hits The Miz head first against the Steel Steps before connecting with the Future Shock DDT and the Claymore Kick.
  • However, McIntyre refuses to end the match following the Claymore kick instead locking in The Hurt Lock and forcing The Miz to tap out to Lashley’s signature submission.

Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon clash once again, match confirmed for later tonight.

  • McMahon states he does not understand why Strowman is out here demanding anything, when he has done nothing wrong.
  • Strowman refers to McMahon as a bully,a comment which McMahon takes poorly demanding the Strowman take his comment back.
  • McMahon continues to insult Strowmans intelligence for the third week in a row, Strowman states that McMahon does not have the balls to ask for a match against Strowman so he’s going to give it to him and he wants it tonight.
  • Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman is confirmed for later in the night.
  • Post-match R-Truth turns up backstage thinking that it is 3:16 day and dressed as The Texas Rattlesnake whilst offering Lana, Naomi, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke a beer.

Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose defeat Naomi and Lana via pinfall [Spinning Neckbreaker]

  • Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are on commentary for the match, discuss Reginald’s work with them on SmackDown and Nia’s upcoming RAW Women’s Championship match.
  • Lana takes out both Rose and Brooke with a series of ‘Ranas and Modified Face-Busters before following up Rose with a Double Knees to the back of the head and a Twisting Neckbreaker.
  • Rose takes Lana out with a big Suplex however as all the competitors are down in the ring, Asuka’s music hits and she charges down the ring towards Baszler.
  • Asuka jumps Baszler only to be separated from her rival by WWE official Adam Pearce.
  • Dana Brooke hits the Spinning Neckbreaker onto Lana to pick up the win for her and Mandy Rose.

The New Day defeat The Hurt Business to capture the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship

  • Woods and Alexander start things off by locking up with Alexander coming out on top early on in the exchange.
  • Alexander attempts to hit a Full Nelson Facebuster however Woods manages to roll-through the offence into a roll-up attempt.
  • Kingston and Woods are wearing Mortal Kombat inspired Sub-Zero/Scorpion gear, a very nice touch.
  • Benjamin hits Woods on the apron with a High-Knee strike before utilising the Steel Steps behind the referee’s back to take Woods out on the outside.
  • The Hurt Business perfectly counter The New Day’s stereo dives, illustrating their awareness and understating of their current reoccurring rivals.
  • Alexander hits a huge Michinoku Driver onto Woods however it is only able to achieve a two-count.
  • Kingston comes in as the hot tag but is immediately shut down by a Step-up Enziguri from Benjamin.
  • SOS from Kingston onto Benjamin nearly seals the deal however The Gold Standard kicks out at two.
  • Kingston connects with the Trouble In Paradise before Woods follows up with The Big Elbow drop into The Day Break.
  • The New Day pin Shelton Benjamin successfully recapturing the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.
  • Post-match AJ Styles and Omos make their way down to the ring to confront the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.
  • AJ Styles and Omos vs. The New Day for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship set for WrestleMania.
  • In a backstage segment Bad Bunny gifted R-Truth the 24/7 Championship taking his total up to 50 reigns.

Damien Priest [w/ Bad Bunny] defeats Ryker [w/ Elias] via pinfall

  • Damian Priest hits the Broken Arrow and the Hit the Lights to defeat Ryker in under a minute.
  • Elias jumps Priest after the bell attempting to hit him over the head with the Guitar only to be stopped by Bad Bunny.
  • Bad Bunny hits Elias with a stiff right hand before Priest connects with the Hit the Lights onto Elias to close the segment.
  • Post-match John Morrison distracts Bad Bunny and Priest allowing The Miz to take out Bunny from behind with Elias’ guitar.

Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman does not begin, Shane McMahon slimes Braun Strowman after putting him through announce table.

  • As Strowman gets ready to compete, McMahon plays hopscotch on the outside stating that it will also help Strowman learn to count.
  • The match does not officially get underway, with Strowman instead pulling McMahon out the ring and tossing him around the ringside area.
  • McMahon counters the Strowman express with a well timed Camera shot to the head, before ascending the turnbuckle and hitting a vintage Shane McMahon elbow drop to Strowman putting him through the announce table.
  • The segment ends with Braun Strowman being slimed by an enraged Shane McMahon who pours not one, but two buckets of slime onto the Monster.

Asuka defeats Shayna Baszler via pinfall [Roll-up]

  • Match is built on Shayna kicking Asuka’s tooth out her mouth on WWE RAW weeks ago, prior to the bell Asuka takes out Jax with a flying hip attack.
  • Baszler counters a second hip attack with a stiff flying knee strike right to the jaw of Asuka.
  • Following a distraction from Jax, Baszler locks in the rear-naked only for Asuka to roll over from the submission into a pinfall picking up the win.
  • Baszler reveals that she tricked Asuka and attempts to hit a PK to the face of Asuka only for The Empress to catch the strike and connect with a Super Dragon face stomp onto Baszler before driving her teeth first into the exposed turnbuckle in an attempt to extract some revenge.
  • The Queen of Spades is only able to escape the attack following intervention from WWE officials who berate Asuka for her actions.

Riddle defeats Mustafa Ali to retain the WWE United States Championship

  • In the initial exchanges Riddle connects with a big Suplex and low kick to send Mustafa out the ring, before the RETIRBUTION leader uses a distraction from Mace to send Riddle face-first into the announce desk.
  • Ali hits a big swinging neckbreaker off the apron onto the outside, taking both men out before the segments ad-breaks.
  • Mustafa captures Riddle within the ring apron and beats down on him before hitting a big DDT however it can only achieve a two-count.
  • Following a distractions attempt from T-Bar, Riddle fires up cleaning house before kipping up and taking Ali down for the 3-count and retaining the US Championship

Lashley defeats Sheamus via pinfall [Spear]

  • Drew McIntyre kicks off the segment, confirming his match against Sheamus on Sunday and stating that he is going to grab a seat at ringside because he doesn’t want to miss Lashley vs. Sheamus.
  • Commentary refers to this match as an expose in the carnage as Sheamus and Lashley brawl violently in the corner against the turnbuckle.
  • Lashley connects with a Stalling Vertical Suplex onto Sheamus whilst staring down his WrestleMania opponent the whole time.
  • As the WWE Champion is in control at ringside, he goes face-to-face with McIntyre only for MVP to prevent the pair going to blows and refocusing Lashley to the task at hand.
  • The WWE Champion isolates the neck and upper back of Sheamus working it over with a range of submissions and heavy blows.
  • Sheamus avoids a Spear from Lashley causing CEO of The Hurt Business to go shoulder first into the turnbuckle before spilling out to the ringside area.
  • Lashley connects with a. mid-air Spear to big up the win ahead of Sunday’s Fast Lane PPV.
