Posting on social media Ric Flair has seemingly confirmed that his daughter Charlotte will miss WrestleMania 37.

This comments come less than 24 hours after Charlotte herself explained her recent absence from WWE television confirming that she tested positive for COIVID-19. Writing on Twitter The Queen revealed her diagnosis, before thanking fans for their support.

“I know everyone has been wondering where I have been. I tested positive for COVID and have been home resting

Thank you everyone for your love”

Her finance Andrade has since posted his own update, writing that Charlotte will be clear in four days, and back on the WrestleMania poster.

However, the new comments from Charlotte’s Hall of Famer father, seem to contradict Andrade’s statement.

The Nature Boy wrote on Instagram that “WrestleMania Will Not Be The Same Without The Queen!”

There had been some speculation online that Flair’s absence was due to her fiancé Andrade leaving WWE, but this has now been proven to not be the case.

Shortly after her post on Twitter, Flair’s COVID diagnosis was also mentioned by a debuting Rhea Ripley as she challenged WWE Women’s Champion Asuka to a match at WrestleMania.

Flair has recently landed a major acting role, as she continues to grow her career outside of WWE. The Queen is fresh of a role in Punky Brewster but has now earned a role in the upcoming remake of the 1973 film Walking Tall. The movie was also remade in 2004 with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson enjoying a high profile role.

At time of writing there have been no announcements regarding Charlotte’s potential involvement at WrestleMania.

Inside The Ropes would like to wish Charlotte a speedy recovery.
