Andrade Provides Update On Charlotte’s WrestleMania Status

Andrade Charlotte Flair

Former WWE Superstar Andrade has taken to social media to reveal the expected return date of Charlotte Flair, revealing an appearance at WrestleMania could still be a possibility.

The 13 time Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE television in recent weeks and was even removed from the official WrestleMania 37 poster. Rumoured plans for the event initially suggested a bout between Charlotte and Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship, however, her removal from promotional images for WrestleMania led fans to question her status with the company.

With many believing Andrade’s recent release from the company played a role in her absence, Charlotte would go on to reveal she has in fact been battling Covid-19. In a recent Twitter post, the ‘Queen’ addressed the rumours of her whereabouts:

I know everyone has been wondering where I have been. I tested positive for COVID and have been home resting 🙏

Thank you everyone for your love ❤️

This latest development in Flair’s status alongside her removal from all promotional material for WrestleMania has led many fans to wonder if Charlotte will make an appearance on ‘the grandest stage of them all’ in 2021. Fiancé and recently released WWE performer Andrade took to social media to speculate that the former WWE Women’s Champion will be cleared within the week, with hopes of returning in time for WrestleMania:

Currently, Asuka is set to defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania. Charlotte, who appears on WWE’s Raw brand, has had memorable Championship matches with both performers, capturing the NXT Women’s Championship from Ripley at WrestleMania 36.

Inside The Ropes wishes Charlotte Flair a speedy recovery.
