The Young Bucks & Adam Page Capture ROH Gold At AEW Grand Slam

The Young Bucks and Adam Page making their entrance in AEW

The Young Bucks & Hangman Adam Page are once again Ring of Honor champions for the first time in almost six years!

During AEW Rampage: Grand Slam last night, the trio collectively known as The Elite challenged Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony of Mogul Embassy for their Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.

Despite the defending champions’ best efforts and constant mid-match distraction from Swerve Strickland, Page ultimately secured the win for his team after countering Cage’s Drill Claw into a roll-up pin – capturing the ROH Six-Man titles in the process.

This is the second time Page and the Jackson Brothers have held Ring of Honor’s trios titles, originally winning the belts six years ago at an ROH War Of The Worlds UK event in Edinburgh, Scotland from Dalton Castle & The Boys.

The group, then known as Bullet Club sub-faction The Hung Bucks, held the titles for six months before losing them to Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky of SCU in a Las Vegas Street Fight at ROH’s 16th Anniversary Show.

Elsewhere on Rampage, Kenny Omega returned to AEW for the first time since his surprising loss to Konosuke Takeshita at AEW All Out. Omega saved long-time rival Chris Jericho and set up a tag team match involving the two for AEW WrestleDream.

Road Dogg Recently Made A Bold Claim About The Young Bucks

During a recent edition of his Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg made the bold claim that he is a better sports entertainer than The Young Bucks.

However, he went on to acknowledge that the duo have been “far more successful” than he was during his active career and praised them both for being talented individuals.
