Scorpio Sky is continuing to establish his singles persona and he’ll have a notable opponent on October 5.
The former TNT Champion is set to square off against Fred Rosser, once known as Darren Young in WWE. Rosser has long since established himself as a member of the NJPW Strong roster and him competing against Sky presents some further intrigue for crossover. The match was actually taped last weekend during AEW Collision but will air on ROH Honor Club this Thursday. The announcement was made on X:
“No Days Off” Fred Rosser makes his #ROH debut against former #ROH World Tag Team & Six-Man Tag Team Champion #ScorpioSky in singles action!

Scorpio Sky Seeks To Re-Establish Himself As A Member Of AEW Collision
Scorpio Sky may very well be the most under-the-radar champion AEW has had to date. Not only is he a former TNT Champion, but Sky also made history with Frankie Kazarian as the two stars became AEW’s first ever World Tag Team Champions.
However, Sky has gone through a few persona changes since the inception of AEW, including a heel turn, an alliance with Ethan Page and Dan Lambert, but now finds himself on his own. AEW does have some confidence in the untapped ceiling for Sky as he was one of the featured talents to be showcased on the promotional material for AEW Collision.
Sky isn’t the only name looking to make waves on the weekend. Former MLW star EJ Nduka has been partaking in dark matches on the program as “The Judge” has been under contract with AEW.
