Scorpio Sky appears to be embracing his sinister side, attacking Darby Allin after the two met in a TNT Championship match on AEW Dynamite.
Sky appeared on commentary before the AEW Revolution event on Dynamite. The SCU member gave an arrogant assessment of his own chances in the ‘Face Of The Revolution’ ladder match.
At AEW Revolution Scorpio Sky would defeat Cody Rhodes, Lance Archer, Max Caster, Penta El Zero Miedo, and the debuting Ethan Page. Sky’s victory came about when he was able to climb a ladder and unlatch a brass ring hanging from above. The win guaranteed Sky a shot at Darby Allin’s TNT Championship.
Allin was part of a brutal cinematic street fight at AEW Revolution. The TNT Champion would team with ‘The Icon’ Sting to defeat Brian Cage and Team Taz.
The TNT Championship match on Dynamite would ultimately see Allin defeat Sky with a small package pin. Sky then attacked Allin after the match, cinching a heel hook that would take several referees to break.
Scorpio Sky smiled and showed his steady hands after the attack signalling that he was in control of his actions and knew what he was doing.
Sky has not appeared with SCU teammates Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels in several weeks. Daniels and Kazarian have been on a winning run as a tag team on AEW Dark. The pair have become the number one ranked tag team in AEW and were seen watching the Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix match on Dynamite.
