Top Star Pulled From AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite set

As if there wasn’t enough chaos around AEW, the card for the May 17th episode of Dynamite has undergone a late change.

It has been announced by Tony Khan that AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter is unable to compete as planned due to injury. The star had been scheduled to team with Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker to take on Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm as the war between The Outcasts and the rest of the women’s locker room continues.

As a result of Hayter’s injury, the match has now been changed to a regular tag team match with Shida and Baker squaring off against Storm and Soho.

Jamie Hayter hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Baker on the April 19th edition of Dynamite against Soho and Storm. After the match, The Outcasts handed out a beatdown, with Storm focusing on Hayter’s shoulder. She was later helped to the back and has remained out of action since.

The nature and the severity of the injury are currently unclear.
